Dzone API?

Is there some dzone open API, like twitter/delicious/google do? The closest thing I found was rss feed for shared data, which is not good enough for me. Also, requesting data from 'http://www.dzone.com/links/users/zoned/.html?type=html&p=1' does not seem very friendly, as it returns the java stack trace when something goes wrong (like passing p=INTEGER.MAX + 1).

We currently do not have a DZone API but a few members have asked about it. Most of them have used the feeds to build their own API. It might be something we proceed into eventually but at this point it is not something we currently offer.

Thank you

Brandon

I think a API is a must. At least an API to specifically search for stuff. Like URLs or specific tags and the like.

Ideally an API to be able to make a full-fledged app. That is with the possibility to post, vote up and down and more.
