AWS re:Invent 2022 is right around the corner, and as always, it will offer plenty of learning opportunities for developers, engineers, and others who want to build new and innovative things on AWS. First held in 2012, AWS re:Invent is the company’s annual learning conference for the global cloud computing community. Scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Monday, November 28, to Friday, December 2, it will feature over 1500 sessions.

If you are joining us at AWS re:Invent 2022, then the BuildOn.AWS (BOA) track is definitely something to look out for! The sessions on this track are specially curated for builders with a focus on how to build real-world solutions, deep dive into the architecture and code.

BuildOn.AWS — There Is Something for Everyone!

This is a great opportunity to interact with technology experts from across AWS and learn about topics ranging from machine learning, open-source tools, cloud infrastructure, security, serverless, data, and more.

Interested in learning about challenges of real-world NLP implementations and how to solve them? Amazon research scientists Saousan Kaddami and Michael Dasseville, and AWS Principal DA Cyrus Vahid, will share their insights on Explainable attention-based NLP using perturbation methods.

Curious about Rust and whether you should use it in your next cloud solution? Hear from AWS Senior Software Engineer Tim McNamara, author of Rust in Action, and AWS Specialist DA Dennis Traub, who will dive deep into the pros and cons of the Rust programming language.

How does AWS handle security? Amazon EC2 security expert Abby Fuller will walk you through AWS response to the Log4Shell vulnerability, right from initial notification to hot patching, and from fleet scanning to customer communications.

Love diving deep into the nitty gritty of practical cloud solutions? Check out the session on building an interactive polling system with .NET and MQTT or pehaps you fancy working on a ML-powered music genre classifier!

Like I mentioned, there is something for everyone and you can find list of all the breakout sessions led by AWS Developer Relations team below.
