Taylor MDA is an open source, Eclipse-based UML modeling and code generation tool. It leverages a convention-based (on rails) code generation approach and stereotypes/annotations so that the maximum amount of code can be generated from streamlined UML models.

Bushel 0.6 is now available. The new version supports OSGi bundle manifests from within Ivy. This is done by masquerading the content of the MANIFEST.MF in the bundle jar as a ivy.xml file. Therefore, enabling the bundle metadata and artifacts to be installed in the Ivy cache, allowing them to be used by any of the standard Ivy ant tasks (such as to build a classpath, or to install in a lib dir).

A quick tip for the Eclipse IDE on how to make Eclipse code for you rather than you code in Eclipse! The mechanism is called templates. While this tip focuses on making constants easy to create, templates are a general concept. Today I was adding grails tutorials into SVN repository. Yes I know it should be in the repository long time ago :). And something that should be simple operation finished with the svn:inconsistent line ending style. For those who didn't still hit this problem, SVN finishes with this error if you have different line ending styles in the same file. And it will refuse to add such files into repository till it is not fixed. As there was more than one file with such problem (few hundreds of them) manual intervention was not an option. But to my surprise (after googling) I was not able to find how to fix it automatically for all the files. So I decided to write a groovy script that will fix it for me.
