The article incorrectly states there is no blocking. There is blocking, just not of the entire data structure. It's better to read the actual Javadocs than this article. @devdanke, did you read the complete article? would you mind to quote which statement is incorrect? Read is certainly unblocked, except a special case, which is unlikely to occur, if you care to look the code of get() method. I appreciate feedback and happy to correct myself, if you care to quote.
