It was at that moment I decided to make a go of it with Linux as my sole operating system. After nearly 2 years of tweaking, making mistakes, fixing those mistakes, and then making even more mistakes, I finally feel qualified to give you advice.

Your monitor wont be detected and you wont be able to use the full resolution of it.
Second, due to removal of add remove programs , now you cannot know which is the most popular software on Ubuntu anymore.
Third, you will have to every time click confirm exit to shutdown or logoff.
4. You will be forced to watch the ubuntu logo while booting with no option to disable it so that we can see whats going on while booting
5. It will boot 15 seconds slower than previous version.
6. No Pidgin
There are many such problemos
