Android developers interested in, you know, acquiring currency of all types may be interested to learn that Coinbase - a digital wallet designed for Bitcoin transactions - recently released an Android SDK that allows developers to accept Bitcoin payments from within Android apps. There are a number of other features as well, such as the ability to permit additional debits within a specified time frame (like having a saved credit card), and more.

Even if you've already turned all your iOS apps into Bitcoin-mining bots, this seems like a somewhat more practical approach to the Bitcoin economy. For more information, check out Coinbase's blog post about the release, and you can find everything you need to get started on their Github.
