Microsoft has released the Entity Framework 4.1 ( EF 4.1 ) Update 1 after 3 months of the release of of Entity Framework 4 .

The ADO.NET Team announced this in their Team Blog .

The Current Refresh of Entity Framework 4.1 includes a small number of bug fixes and new types .

Some of these include

  • “Bug fix to remove the need to specify ‘Persist Security Info=True’”
  • “Introduction of new types to facilitate design-time tools for Code First. ”
