This blogger, like many agile coaches, completely disagrees with the idea that if you can't do the mandated practices of Agile in real-world scenarios, then you shouldn't call what you're doing agile.  If you remember your Agile Manifesto, it doesn't mandate any practices. 

It is my belief, that “Agile” is not a binary state. One cannot say that a person or an organisation is or is not Agile, but only how Agile they are/are not; how far they are along their agile journey.
