All of RethinkDB's Funny Example Queries

You can find a surprising number of entertaining or intriguing things in online software documentation.  It seems that ZeroMQ isn't the only open source project with a little humor injected into the docs.  If you go to the new RethinkDB documentation page, you'll find some interesting example queries in the upper right-hand corner each time you refresh the page.

For convenience's sake, let me paste all the example queries that will display:

First, a reference to James Bond and the expectation of death in yet another elaborate trap.

This one is a reference to the hilarious xkcd.com "Bobby Tables" comic.

Ah!  A Shakespeare reference.  I hope you recognized the Hamlet quote before I told you.

It's time to query for the answer the most confounding question from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I'd also like to know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

A well-known drinking song.

Spoiler alert!

And finally, another Shakespeare reference.  This one is about Romeo & Juliet.

I think software documentation humor exists so that developers and readers get to have a little fun while they digest hard technical information.  It seems to be a common occurrence.

RethinkDB has reached version 1.8 this month.  Take a look at the new release.
