Announcing the NetBeans Innovators Grant

Have you ever wanted to earn some money to work on a cool open source project? Or would you like someone to sponsor your project? This is your chance.

NetBeans announces the "Dreams of Reality - NetBeans Innovator's Grant", a contest to give grant money to the best ideas on how to improve or expand the NetBeans Project.

If you have a good idea, or you know something that is needed in NetBeans-land, you can take this unique chance to work on your own ideas and earn up to US $20,000!

There will be 10 grants for small projects (US $2,000) and 10 grants for large projects (US $11,500). There is also extra grant money for the best implementations, extending the grant to more then US $20,000!

You can submit your ideas until March 3rd, so, start planning, and come earn some real money to implement your dream project.

And, if you don't know what you would like to work on, there is even a cool list of ideas suggested by the NetBeans Dream Team, and also NetBeans Evangelists and Engineers. You can browse and see if there is something you are interested in.
