As you've probably guessed, I use Appcelerator Titanium for my mobile development, and I like it a lot. This week they are running a series of three webinars focusing a range of topics, some suitable for beginners, others aimed at more advanced users. If you've been thinking about getting into mobile development, these webinars are worth your attention.

Even better, as well as the very useful KitchenSink project, which highlights all available functionality in Titanium, two new sample applications will be made available. This is great news as the sample applications are more useful than any documentation if you want to get started quickly.

The webinar topics are as follows, at 9:00AM PST each day. Register at http://developer.appcelerator.com/ to get access to these talks.

  • Titanium for New Developers (Wednesday Jan 5)
  • What's New In Titanium Mobile 1.5 (Thursday Jan 6)
  • Developing Native Android Apps With Titanium (Friday Jan 7)

Finally, if you're in the Mountain View area on January 11, you might be interested in registering for Appcelerator's hands-on Android Hackathon.
