Join For FreeThis morning on our Continuous Discussions (#c9d9) podcast, we had a great discussion with a panel of DevOps Enterprise Summit Las Vegas 2018 (DOES18) speakers and DevOps thought leaders to discuss conference programming and challenges for operations teams.
Today's episode dove into the DOES18 program focus on next-gen operations. For the past several years, operations teams have often felt like DevOps was really NoOps - with continuous delivery and modern architectures mainly benefiting developers. NoOps no more at DOES18! Today we learned that the programming committee has dedicated 25% of the program to next-gen operations.
In addition to the conversation around DOES18 programming, panelists also shared their own experiences with operations challenges and successes, project funding and the joys of interacting with the DevOps community.
The DevOps Enterprise Summit is on track to sell out so register now before it's too late!
During the podcast, we discussed:
- New programming at DOES18 including next-gen operations, a focus on networking and DevOps Confessions
- Favorite moments connecting with the DevOps community
- Trials and tribulations of project vs. product funding
