Although it's not yet in a code release, Cloudant and the rest of the Apache CouchDB community has finally finished the merging of BigCouch, a HA, fault-tolerant, clustered version of CouchDB, with the primary CouchDB Apache project.  The code is now in the testing phase, which you can help with.

Cloudant has built commercial products on top of CouchDB, so they've worked heavily on improving the database.  It's always a good thing to see full-time development efforts on top of open source projects work their way back into the core project for the benefit of the NoSQL community.  Not only that, but Cloudant is going to work directly on developing CouchDB further rather than continuing with their BigCouch fork.
