Better still, the GUI allows developers to drag and drop integration and mediation components instead of writing innumerable lines of code.

Twitter Switches from Ruby-on-Rails to Java

Twitter just got faster.  After switching to a Java Blender server from Ruby-on-Rails, Twitter has reported a 3x drop in search latencies.  Currently, Twitter is still using the Ruby-on-Rails servers for routing thrift requests to the Java cluster.  Soon, they will make the final move to directly connect users to the Java server.

New CentOS 5.6

Built from the upstream source releases of Red Hat's Enterprise Linux, CentOS 5.6 is ready for download.  Other than the removal of protected Red Hat material, the new version of CentOS includes updates to wireless drivers and the newly-introduced Ext4 file system.  Updated version of libvirt, Bind, and PHP 5.3 round out the new release.  CentOS developers hope to release version 6 in the near future. 

M1 Release of PrimeFaces 3.0

With over 100 enhancements and 13 new components, the PrimeFaces 3.0 M1 release marks a significant improvement over previous releases. Most notable among the enhancements is the addition of PrimeFaces Mobile.  PrimeFaces Mobile is built on top of jQuery Mobile, supporting a variety of mobile platforms. FileUpload has also been re-written, replacing flash with HTML5.
