Microsoft is Giving Away Free Azure Service Time

For a limited time, Microsoft is offering free access to its Windows Azure Cloud development platform. Eclipse Virgo 3.0.0M1 Release

The Eclipse Virgo project is releasing its 3.0 line.  One of the main goals for the new Eclipse Virgo 3.0 line is close integration with Eclipse RT.  Virgo Jetty Server, based off of Jetty v7.3, is a notable new feature.  Improved Equinox integration includes an upgrade to 3.7M5, and rebased region implementation on OSGi framework hooks.  P2 support will be facilitated by using Equinox Declarative Services to relax the order of kernel bundle initiation.

Just Released: New Oracle Firewall For Databases

Not all security threats originate from HTTP traffic. SQL injection attacks  pose less of a threat thanks to Oracle's firewall for databases.  The new security software checks the SQL to guard against SQL injection.  No changes need to be made to existing applications or databases when deploying Oracle Database Firewall.
