Only Chrome Not Pwned at Pwn2Own 2011
The yearly Pwn2Own competition, a contest designed to pitt worlds best hackers against the most current browsers, failed to locate a hacker willing to take on the Google Chrome browser. Internet Explorer 8, Firefox, and Safari were quickly decimated by dedicated teams of hackers. Google offered $20,000 to any team that could hack Chrome. Two teams of hackers signed up for the challenge, but both backed out at the last minute.
New Atmosphere 0.7 Framework to Launch
In the new
Version 0.7 of the Atmosphere POJO based framework, the Atmosphere-GWT project has achieved full integration with the rest of the Atmosphere project. Thanks to this integration, users can now add support for WebSocket/Comet to GWT applications. The Atmosphere JQuery Plugin is configurable to use an external WebSocket implementation. Version 0.8 of Atmosphere should be available before the summer.
Mule 3.1.1 Release
Follow-up release to
Mule 3.1, of Mule ESB 3.1.1 (CE and EE), has sports increased connectivity and support. Online documentation is greatly improved, especially in light of increased examples and better descriptions for transports and modules. Support has been added for CXF 2.3.1. Over sixty important bugs have also been fixed.
