A new example Docker package on GitHub called docker-urlarchiver is a perfect template for packaging up Node.js scripts with all of their dependencies, including Node.js itself. 

The example code saves URL responses to Amazon S3.  You can see the demo site online

It looks like Docker package recipes are being traded left and right on GitHub and on other forums, which are constantly cropping up.  Just this week, a new Docker files subreddit was launched.
