With Chrome catching up to Firefox by adding extensions, many of the add-ons are also catching up. Some of the most popular are the Chrome Ad Blockers, which are similar to a Firefox add-on. I wonder how internet advertisers feel about these browser tools? No uproar about it has gained any traction yet. Maybe they use the extensions themselves.
The flagship company for PHP, Zend, just announced the release of Zend Studio 7.1. The PHP specific IDE supports PHP 5.3, synchronization with remote servers, and TDD (task-driven development). PHAR (PHP Archives) support is another major addition to 7.1. PHP Studio 7.1 is ready for download starting at 399 euro.
