It's almost here!  Tomcat 7 RC4 just went live and it includes all the goodies that we've been anticipating since October '09.  Tomcat 7 will implement the Servlet 3.0 spec as well as support annotations, simplified embedding, and dynamic configuration of libraries via web.xml fragments.  DZone even did a whole interview on some of the memory leak problems that Tomcat 7 will solve.

JBoss Tools Ain't For Fools
With around 100 fixes, JBoss Tools 3.1.1 is now available.  It's a major bugfix release for 3.1.x, which includes shiny new features like CDI annotation support and m2eclipse integration with Maven.  It's recommended that you install the latest patches to Eclipse WTP.  This will fix issues with Classpath libraries that affected Maven users.

Python 2.7 Reaches Release Candidate Stage
The first release candidate for Python 2.7 is now available.  There have been some minor fixes to the interpreter.  A new C API function for Python embedders has been added to fix potential problems with path handling.  The final release of Python 2.7 should arrive later this month, and it will be the last major 2.x version with new features.  Forthcoming 2.x versions will focus on fixing bugs.

Unlimited Paid App Submissions in the Windows Phone Marketplace
Microsoft is now allowing unlimited submissions for paid apps in the new Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.  Previously, free and paid apps had a 5-app limit (after devs payed $99 to get an annual subscription) and then it cost $20 for each extra app submitted.  Now that only applies to free apps.
