MongoDB: Broken by Design? 
A professor at Cornell recently wrote an  article  arguing that MongoDB's fault tolerance is broken, but it was quickly rebutted by 10gen's Jared Rosoff in an  interview.   The professor, however, is not backing down.  The link on the title of this goes to to his response to the interview.

CKEditor Will Replace TinyMCE as Default Editor in Drupal 8  
This is good news since I've used TinyMCE a lot and it was quite a pain at times.  CKEditor is slightly better, but you should seriously look into other non-default editors if you're using Drupal.





Not to much of a difference.  CKEditor definitely wins in the 'more buttons' category.

Ubuntu Phone Coming in October?  
A WSJ report is saying that Mark Shuttleworth mentioned that Ubuntu-driven smartphones would be available in two major geographical markets starting in October.  

Prismatic Shares 'Graph' for Describing FP Data Flows  
The twitter-esque Prismatic recently open sourced their Graph project as part of their Clojure-based plumbing library.  Not to be confused with any graph dbs.
