I'm working on our first ever research guide that focuses on a language platform rather than a major trend like continuous delivery or IoT. The Java Ecosystem guide is going to be pretty awesome for a number of reasons, one of which will be the survey data from 400+ Java developers that we already have. Make sure your situation is recorded too:

When it's all said and done, we'll have really interesting stats to share about these things:

  • Java versions used, Spring and Java EE usage, and server technologies used
  • Build, CI, IDE, performance, and other tool usage
  • Cloud infrastructure usage and opinions on microservices and containers
  • JVM language usage and opinions (Scala, Clojure, Groovy, etc.)
