We launched Eclipse Labs this past May.  The goal was to create a community for Eclipse open source projects that weren’t ‘official’ Eclipse Foundation projects.  There is lots of interesting Eclipse related technology being created in open source but there was not an official home.  Eclipse Labs was to be the home.

Five months later and we now have over 1000 projects listed on Eclipse Labs.   Granted there are many bogus projects but there is a lot of interesting stuff being built.  Projects like:

- code recommenders

- pollux which claims to Bridges the gap between the Spring development model and RAP

- cppcheclipse

- xtext-typesystems

or p2-analysis-tool

and much more.   I encourage you take a look at Eclipse Labs.   We are fast on our way to creating a home for interesting Eclipse open source technology.
