Is the concept of adopting a continuous everything model a daunting task for your fast moving business? Read this whitepaper to break down and understand one of the key pillars of this model in Continuous Governance: The Guardrails for Continuous Everything.

At the 2016 RSA Conference in San Francisco, I asked Dan Kaminsky (@dakami), Chief Scientist, White Ops, about changes in the DevOps environment. Is there a fundamental difference in how enterprises are approaching DevOps?

Kaminsky responded that we shouldn’t be focusing on DevOps necessarily, but rather that all software development at this point is live. You are constantly integrating software and if you want to survive, you need a more agile developer-operations integrated pipeline. Or, as some people might call it, DevOps.

Regardless, given the customized nature of enterprise software and the control of where that data goes, enterprises do often face a harder version of DevOps.

In the video, Kaminsky and I talk about the paradigm shift in IT from physical to virtual where server instances have accelerated from months to minutes, and Kaminsky reminds us when it comes to dealing with attackers, we have defenders’ advantages.
