Following on the intelligence thread, WildML gives us an excellent explanation of Convolutional Neural Networks for NLP. Alex H Woods completes the idea with a nice post on Bayes Theorem and Naive Bayes. While applications of Bayes Theorem may not seem as sexy as convolution neural networks, they still power most spam filters and many other large applications.
