Learn how to migrate and modernize stateless applications and run them in a Kubernetes cluster.

Cloud Foundry has announced a series of three webinars scheduled for late march.  For those not in the know, CloudFoundry is an open source project that provides PaaS technology to developers.  At these webinars, members of the Cloud Foundry team will help attendees to get started with Cloud Foundry.  They also seem to be appealing to the Ruby crowd on March 28 by showing users how to deploy both Sinatra nad Rails apps without modifying code.  Here's a quick description of each webinar:


Getting Started on Cloud Foundry

March 21, 2012 (10:00AM PST)

Dekel Tankel, from Cloud Foundry, describes how the project provides an open PaaS solution.  Also, Tankel will demonstrate how to scale both a simple and complex application using a couple Cloud Foundry services.


Getting Started with Ruby on Cloud Foundry

March 28, 2012 (10:00AM PST)

Senior Software Engineer Jennifer Hickey will demonstrate deployment of Ruby apps on Cloud Foundry with both Sinatra and Rails.  




Join us in exploring application and infrastructure changes required for running scalable, observable, and portable apps on Kubernetes.
