Houston TechFest (Sept 26) to feature Java, .NET, Agile and iPhone development
The third annual Houston TechFest will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at University of Houston's Main Campus. This free event is the largest of its kind in Texas and provides a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends in information technology and development. Choose from over 70 technical sessions on topics including .Net, Java, Agile, SharePoint, C# 4.0, Windows 7, Silverlight 3.0, iPhone development, and many more.
This year TechFest is excited to have as the keynote speaker Microsoft's Sam Gazette, the Product Manager for Visual Studio 2010. Mr. Gazette will talk about Visual Studio 2010 and demonstrate the ways it can help you avoid development pitfalls and bring your ideas to life.
Also presenting will be Sang Shin of Sun Microsystems, Keith Combs of Microsoft, Jeffrey Palermo of Headspring, Claudio Lassala of EPS Software, Todd Anglin of Telerik and many more.
With an expected 1,000 attendees and numerous sponsor booths, TechFest is a great way to network as you learn about new technologies.
