The fourth annual Houston TechFest will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at University of Houston's Main Campus. This free event is one of the largest of its kind in Texas and provides a great opportunity to learn about the latest trends in information technology and development.  Choose from over 80 technical sessions on topics including .Net, Java, Agile, SharePoint, Cloud Computing,  SQL Server, Silverlight, Mobile Computing Development, and much more.
This year, TechFest is excited to have Venkat Subramaniam, founder of Agile Developer as the keynote speaker.  Mr. Subramaniam will talk about Pointy Haired Bosses and Pragmatic Programmers.
Also presenting will be  Zain Naboulsi of Microsoft, Claudio Lassala of EPS Software, Todd Anglin of Telerik and many more.
With an expected 1,000 attendees and numerous sponsor booths, TechFest is a great way to network as you learn about new technologies.
Houston TechFest is free to all attendees thanks to the generosity of our sponsors lead by Microsoft and Improving. Doors open at 8:00 am with the keynote presentation at 9:00 am.
