How to Add Interval Sets to Redis

MongoDB Atlas is a database as a service that makes it easy to deploy, manage, and scale MongoDB. So you can focus on innovation, not operations. Brought to you in partnership with MongoDB.

The RedisToGo blog has a comprehensive tutorial for adding interval sets in a Redis deployment.  Redis gets a lot of benefits from not having the bloat of a plugin system, but it means that processes like the one in this tutorial are required in some cases.

What Redis lacks is an easy way to add new data structures to the core. Salvatore has explained why he is  against  a plugin system, and it seems as if such a system will not make its way to Redis. This means we’ll have to add a new data structure directly to the Redis core.
