It seems that Microsoft is the only company trying to directly compete with Amazon Web Services using their own Windows Azure services. I don't think anyone can deny that AWS is having more success than Microsoft, and it looks like no one else is even close to challenging AWS on the sheer number of cloud services provided.
But Luke Wheeler thought now was a good time to revisit how other companies are competing strongly in a few specific areas of services, some that AWS doesn't even provide.
