In order to set up the development environment, you would need to have Android SDK, JAVA JDK, Eclipse Development Tools, and Eclipse IDE for Java Developers and EclipsePlugin. Once you set up the development environment, you will need to configure Android SDK as well. The time taken to configure Android SDK depends on the speed of your Internet connection.

The next step is to set up Eclipse IDE. You will need to download and install the latest version of Eclipse on your computer.
