The global workforce has transitioned to a mobile workforce. The number of mobile workers will grow to 1.9 billion by 2022, which will make up 43 percent of the total workforce [1]. This mobile workforce growth influences enterprise mobility needs.

As far as office automation is concerned, business users need the ability to orchestrate and supervise their digital workforce from anywhere. At Automation Anywhere, we offer a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) mobile app to access your live RPA dashboard securely. Users now can start, pause, and stop attended RPA bots from the app, monitor ROI and performance data, or receive automation alerts.

One of the most prominent mobile application features is the IQ Bot integration. IQ Bot is a cognitive solution that analyzes documents and unstructured data for automation. With IQ Bot at your fingertips, you can use your mobile device’s camera to snap a photo of an invoice, receipt, or other documents and directly upload them to your control room. Your IQ bot processes the documents and emails the results to you instantaneously. We recommend that you create and train your IQ Bot for the document types you want to support first.

To take this for a spin:

  1. If you don’t have the latest version of Automation Anywhere mobile app installed, download it from the app store. You're toned to use Enterprise control room version 11.3.1 or greater for mobile integration. The app is compatible with iOS 10.0 or later and Android 8.1 or later.

  2. Launch the mobile app. When you launch it for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your Enterprise control room URL. Key in your URL and credentials to log in.

  3. To explore the cognitive automation capability, click on IQ Bot button. This will lead you to the 'take a picture' page. Capture an image of the document you want to process.

  4. Click on 'Upload Images' to upload the image(s) to your control room.

  5. After a successful upload, click on 'Go to Bots' to select the applicable IQ Bot to process the image. The IQ Bot you choose should support the document type and language of your document.

  6. Confirm to start the IQ Bot in your control room.

  7. In almost real time, you will receive an email from IQ Bot with the classification results. Extracted and digitalized data from your document is attached.

Mobility has become synonymous with productivity. Automation Anywhere’s mobile application allows you to work in the way you prefer. With IQ Bot’s intelligent automation capability, field workers, insurance adjustors, home appraisers, delivery workers, and others can now have their documents processed from the palm of their hands.
