I have created a short (well, relatively short—40 minutes) video session on the basics of Cloud Computing and Microsoft Azure.

The session aims to explain the cloud phenomena in a simple way so that the audience can understand how it is different from the traditional computing ecosystem that they have been using for quite some time now. It describes cloud in terms of the most common cloud service resources which are Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).

Check it out down below:

Summary of the Session

The term Cloud Computing is everywhere these days and is considered the next big thing. However, it’s real meaning and scope is still not clear even to IT pros... the cloud is often perceived as huge and all-encompassing. The marketing hype paired with the myriad of services it can provide is probably to blame for that perception.

The session tries to explain cloud concepts in a very simple way so that anyone can get a basic understanding of it. And then, it introduces Microsoft Azure, providing a practical experience with cloud technologies.
