Apple’s iPhone seems to have come to a saturation point in the market. This point becomes justifiable by the fact that Apple is looking to crack the market by reducing price through iPhone 5C and not by leading innovation. Before this handset was introduced, almost all the Smartphones from Apple series had something innovative that created hype in the market and led the customers to emphasize something new.

Although market dynamics for Apple have not been favorable, demand remains intact as the technological giant has come up with great advancements in the past. But this time around, the other markets like Microsoft Windows and Google’s Android might have an edge over it. Persisting with the conventional iPhone utilities, Apple has not even upgraded the other aspects that were expected by users for some time.

Features To Signify Everything

Criticism is not the goal of this article. But comparing this venture of iPhone 5S and 5C with previous versions of it in terms of new innovative features incorporated, it falls back. With 3GS’s high speed in 2009 arena and 4S Siri voice recognition, the concepts that made the world go crazy over iPhone has not been the case here.

Features proactively have been updated to a limited extent, keeping it less flexible than previous ones. The A7 chip with iOS 7 is the only highlight of a fast processor enabling users to maximize app utility and multi-tasking. The camera model has also been upgraded, but the picture quality and dynamic effect remain the same as in iPhone 5. Due to this, iPhone application development is getting a huge hike in the market as the future of these mobile with extensive features is surely going to be bright. Furthermore, there has been a significant increase in the number of built-in apps that might degrade processor performance with reference to other Operating Systems in the market.

Appearance: “More Gaudier Than Sophisticated”

Talking about the looks, iPhone 5C has several colors with plastic laminates and curved edges. This style looks more sporty and glossy rather than classy. Although efforts have been put on to give various lighter shades to blossom the instrument but it does not actually frill out to be so. On the other hand, iPhone 5S has stylish and trendy looks but still the colors like golden, silver do not peculiarly match with the aluminum metal body. The conventional iPhone 5 had more sleek, stylish and classy appearance than the two upcoming ones.

Price, Ratings And Reviews

There has been a mixed bag of reviews and ratings from all over the world. Responses are cold as far as predecessor models of Apple are concerned. Spending $200 on limited 16 GB for 5S is definitely not worth if you have $100 phone with same features and different looks. As far as critics are concerned, reviews are eventually turning out to be good as market penetration is increasing gradually. Also, a steep rise of $100 with double increase in space is a common drawback of all phones introduced in iPhone series. It reluctantly provides the best connectivity with LTE enabled in iPhone 5C.

Well, Tim Cook and his team are certainly looking forward to the launch of iPhone 6 next year, and maybe it will have something that dignifies Apple’s standard. Or if the same tale lingers around the iPhone 6 also, it would not be wrong to believe that Apple has run out of ideas or its innovations are becoming predictable.
