Joyent Co-Founder Departs

Jason Hoffman, who helped co-found the cloud company Joyent ten years ago, announced that he is leaving the company but staying connected as an advisor. He doesn't point out any specific reason for leaving but says that he will now have the opportunity to explore his own projects.
Joyent is best known for being the birthplace of Node.js, having employed Ryan Dahl up until his departure from public life. Joyent is also very optimistic about it's "computer on storage" engine called Manta.
