|The biggest challenge we have at Deutsche Bank (and I am sure many of you face similar challenges) is engagement. Specifically, for us, how do you change the way 100,000 people work (keeping in mind that those 100,000 people are spread across the global, come from quite diverse backgrounds and have different social cultures)? It is not easy - that's for sure - and it doesn't happen over night.|
This year, at Jive World 2013, I will be talking about some of the things that worked for us at DB (and of course - some of the things that didn't work) at Claire Flanagan's Advanced Community Management track. Our approach is based on a book called “Influencer: The New Science of Leading Change” by Kerry Patterson, et al
I will go through each of these 6 sources and describe how we at DB incorporated them into or approach at engaging and influencing users.
This is my second time presenting at Jive World and my third time at Jive World. I have been the Community Manager for our internal instance of Jive called myDB since its inception back in December of 2011 and I can't believe how much I have learned - the good, the bag and the ugly. IMHO, I believe this track "Advanced Community Management" is one of the best ones out there and and can't wait to share my experiences with you. Hopefully, other community managers will attend and share their experience as well - especially in the second part of our session where we breakout into our workshop challenge.
