As you can see, I will be speaking at this event covering the ‘Building Web Sites with Orchard’ session. I’m very exited about this and I know we will have great time there!

Here are some useful links related to the event:

The event will be held in M6 Educational Centre Skopje. I haven’t been there up yet, but it seems as a very nice place judging by the photos and environment I have seen from their website.

Few words about ‘Building Web Sites with Orchard’ Session

As you may already know, Orchard is a free, open source, community-focused project aiming on delivering applications and reusable components on the ASP.NET platform. It’s licensed under New BSD License.

The intended output of the Orchard project is three-fold:

  • Individual .NET-based applications that appeal to end-users, designers, developers, and Web professionals
  • A set of re-usable components that makes it easy to build such applications
  • A vibrant community to help define these applications and extensions

In the near term, the Orchard project is focused on delivering a .NET-based CMS application that will allow users to rapidly create content-driven Websites, and an extensibility framework that will allow developers and customizers to provide additional functionality through module extensions and themes.

If you are near here, lets meet in the event!
