Andrew McAfee coined the Enterprise 2.0 expression back in 2006.  He and his colleague Erik Brynjolfsson are at the forefront of the blurring of digital and management that is at the heart of social business.

The two MIT academics are hosting an event, called MIT and the Digital Economy this Friday (18th) in San Francisco.  Alongside the pair will be Rod Brooks, Tim O’Reilly, Carl Shapiro, Tom Siebel, Vivek Ranadivé, MIT Sloan dean David Schmittlein.

Amongst other things, the event will cover innovation, entrepreneurship, employment, disruption, and other tech-related topics in panels, fireside chats, and keynotes.

The full agenda is here. Registration starts at Noon, and cocktails begin at 5:45.  There are tickets available to the public so make sure you register soon if you fancy going.
