TestProject is a free cloud-based end-to-end test automation platform for web, mobile and API testing. TestProject is created on top of popular existing open-source test automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium. It supports popular operating systems like Windows, Mac & Linux which helps us to test Web, Android, and iOS applications effortlessly.

TestProject is already a “Selenium & Appium” ready automation tool. We don’t want to install any complex libraries spending time to set up the environment for Test automation. TestProject requires installing one agent, which contains all necessary dependencies of Selenium and Appium which enables us to start test automation within minutes.
Steps To Perform Mobile Testing:
We will see in 14 simple steps how to do Mobile testing of the inbuilt "Calculator" application in an Android mobile using TestProject.
TestProject is a cloud-based application, so we have to signup and log in to TestProject to perform Mobile automation.
Step 1: Log in to the TestProject account
Step 2: Create a new project in the TestProject platform and give the below details and say “Create”
Step 4: Select the type of test - Mobile
Step 5: Give a meaningful name for the mobile test
Step 6: Now we have to set the real mobile device. On mobile, go to Settings -> About Phone -> Build number. Tap this option 7 times to become a Developer. We need to be Developer to perform mobile testing. After becoming a developer, we can able see "Developer options" in Phone settings. Go to Developer options and ensure the below options are enabled. If not, enable and connect the device using a USB cable.
Step 7: We have to select the application in our mobile for testing. In our case, select "Calculator" in the below screen:
Step 8: Provide the details like device name, application name from our mobile device.
Step 9: Select the platform on which we need to run the "Calculator" application
Step 10: Decide the location where we need to save the project - Cloud or File and select "Recording"
Step 11: We can able to see the "Calculator" application getting launched from our real mobile device and TestProject window parallel
Step 12: Record simple steps and we can able to see statements getting recorded on the TestProject window
Step 13: Click the "Run" button to run the test and see the results. After execution, the test results window will show as below:
Step 14: We can also see details stepwise results for better analysis
