January's Publications

On January 15th, we released the first Guide of 2018, the DZone Guide to DevOps: Culture and Process. This is the fifth time we've released a Guide on this topic, but interest in DevOps doesn't seem to be waning. The Guide has received over 15,000 downloads thus far.

We also released the following Refcardz last month:

Introducing Thomas Jardinet

We're very pleased to welcome the newest member of our Zone Leader team, Thomas Jardinet. He'll be managing the soon-to-be released Microservices Zone, and has already started syndicating content. Here's how he describes himself in his own words:

"As an IT architecture consultant with thirteen years of experience, I accompany my clients in defining their architectures, whether functional, application or technical, by studying with them the best path. I also accompany them in the organizational side, and above all I seek with them intellectual and human exchange. I am also a supporter of flattened organizations, as I think it greatly improves the productivity, robustness, and resilience of companies."

Welcome, Thomas!

Editors' Picks: Ranga Karanam, Rohela Raouf, and Shivshankar Pal

Last month, MVB Ranga Karanam posted a ton of fantastic content on Spring Boot, including a multi-part series on Microservices with Spring Boot. You can read the first post in the series here. His extremely popular Integration article, "Spring Boot REST API Projects With Code Examples," received nearly 18,000 pageviews. Congrats to Ranga on earning the second-most cumulative pageviews on his content for the month of January!

We'd like to give a huge thank-you to Rohela Raouf, who submitted a great post for the Microservices Zone and became our first contender for the "Most Microservices Posts" and "Most Microservices Pageviews" categories of the At Your (Micro) Service contest. This was also her first-ever post to DZone - welcome to DZone contributor community, Rohela!

Congrats to Shivshankar Pal, another first-time contributor to DZone. We love it when new contributors make a splash, and Shivshankar certainly did with his article, "Lambda Expressions in Java 8." His post received over 25,000 pageviews, making it the 7th-most-viewed article of the month. We look forward to reading more of his content.

See you next month for another DZone recap!
