There seems to be a lot of interest for NetBeans Platform Trainings in the Unites States, so Eppleton is planning to hold new courses here soon. In case you're interested in attending the certified training or the architects course, let me know. We're also still looking for nice venues all over the USA. And in case you don't want to waste time travelling, you can also invite us to your company.

Right now we're preparing for the second open NetBeans Platform training in Munich. There's going to be lots of new stuff from NetBeans 7, especially the new Annotations for Window System and Actions. Also there'll be a new sample application that will be used throughout the course.

Just published the latest "NetBeans Platform in less than a Minute" screencast. This time you'll learn how to display a Node hierarchy in a Window.

That's a tough one (if you need to do it in les than a minute), so be sure to watch "NetBeans Platform in less than a minute (2): Add a Window" first, and don't miss adding the dependencies! You can watch all screencasts here (Registration required).
