In Boston, VisiTrend and Brandeis University are hosting the current implementation of the NetBeans Platform Certified Training. Here's the whole group, from the scientific world, as well as from a large financial institution, among others:

NetBeans Dream Team member Alex Kotchnev is sitting on the far right of the pic!

The program is as normal the following:

  • Getting Started
  • Module
  • Lookup
  • TopComponent
  • Node
  • Explorer View
  • Visual Library
  • Action
  • Miscellaneous

And, in the evening, a Boston Java Meetup was held at the Microsoft New England Research and Development Center focusing on the NetBeans Platform:

Among other things, Alex talked about the NetBeans Dream Team. In the front row above, third right, you see Jesse Glick, core NetBeans developer. He'll be doing presentations about Maven and the NetBeans Platform during the course later this week.

Strategies and techniques for building scalable and resilient microservices to refactor a monolithic application step-by-step, a free O'Reilly book. Brought to you in partnership with Lightbend.
