An interesting tool for web designers working with responsive design might be Snap.svg, a new open-source JavaScript library for scalable vector graphics.

Responsive design's flexibility comes with some limitations, particularly regarding the types of designs one can effectively use; resizing and reshaping to match various screen sizes is going to be a problem for certain designs. The vector graphics Snap.svg helps to create are easily re-scalable and appropriate for all types of screens, though, so it's an interesting resource for anybody looking to strip out some of the tediousness of finding something that's universally appealing.

For a couple of demos, take a look at this animated game and this vector coffeemaker, and check out Snap.svg for an overview.
