Databases are better when they can run themselves. CockroachDB is a SQL database that automates scaling and recovery. Check it out here.

Jira, the service for submitting bug reports and feature requests related to MongoDB, has been around for most of the project's lifespan.  But so that interested parties can quickly access information on the issues deemed most critical, the team has just added a new page dedicated to providing fast, easy-to-digest critical alerts and advisories.  Each issue is categorized as being related either to Data Integrity or Security and includes a link to a detailed bug description (i.e. the issue's Jira page) and pulls the cells from the Jira table which state whether the issue is fix or has a fix pending, as well as the version in which the the issue was fixed or in which it will be fixed.

On the new page you'll also find a link to a comprehensive list of bugs and feature requests (i.e. Jira) and another to the Google group for Mongo announcements.

Databases should be easy to deploy, easy to use, and easy to scale. If you agree, you should check out CockroachDB, a scalable SQL database built for businesses of every size. Check it out here.
