This post come from Kirby Frugia at the New Relic Blog.
Laissez les bons temps rouler! I’m Kirby Frugia and I’m excited to represent the New Relic .NET team at TechEd 2013 in New Orleans next week. If you haven’t gone to TechEd before, it’s Microsoft’s premiere event for IT professionals and enterprise developers.
New Relic and Windows Azure
New Relic for .NET is designed to be the perfect complement to Windows Azure. Azure is Microsoft’s open and flexible cloud platform that enables you to quickly build, deploy and manage web applications. New Relic gives you deep insight into your application’s performance from the end user experience to the app server, and all the way down to the SQL statement.
Installing New Relic on Azure is super fast and easy. In just a few minutes you’ll start getting insight into how your apps are performing on Azure and you’ll have a much better understanding of when you need to scale and why.
For details on setting up New Relic on Windows Azure, see our documentation or check out this video.
And don’t forget, if you’re a Microsoft Azure customer, you get New Relic Standard for free as part of our partnership. Go here for more information.
New Relic at TechEd
I’ll be available if you’d like to chat next week. Look out for me — I’ll be one of the guys wearing the Nerd Life tee. If you’re on the Azure track, I recommend the Azure Store breakout session on Wednesday at 1:30pm. (I’ll be there too.)
You’ll also find me at the Server-Cloud-Tools booth on Thursday, so stop by if you want to learn about Azure and New Relic or just talk code.
I’ll see you there!
