Recently NetBeans User Group Serbia has been actively working on promoting the NetBeans Platform and preparing trainings.

The latest promotion was at  the Open IT event, which was organized by the local AIESEC community. AIESEC is the world's largest student organisation involved in student exchange and internships. Open IT brings together students and companies, so students can know about IT industry trends and employment opportunities.

During the lecture, we explained to the students what the NetBeans Plaform is and what are the benefits of using it. Although many of them have used NetBeans IDE, almost none of them were aware of the possibilities that the NetBeans Platform provides. Since we got many of them interested in the NetBeans Platform, we decided to organize NetBeans Platform trainings in the near future.

We also agreed with the local AIESEC community to cooperate in order to promote and educate students about the NetBeans Platform.

If you live in the Belgrade area, you can sign up for the free upcoming trainings at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences here.

See more photos from the event here.
