· Java Zone

Discover how powerful static code analysis and ergonomic design make development not only productive but also an enjoyable experience, brought to you in partnership with JetBrains

Data types for dates and times are slightly different across databases which often makes life difficult for us developers. ColdFusion ORM makes this pretty simple:

  • For a date with time use ormtype="timestamp"
  • Just a date use ormtype="date"

There are no other options!

Full example with the property tag:

property name="aFullDateWithTime" ormtype="timestamp";
property name="justADate" ormtype="date";
