Developers looking to tackle Windows Phone 7.5 with PhoneGap, an open source mobile framework that uses HTML5, CSS and Javascript, can now include some useful plugins in their development. The PhoneGap beta announcement was made by Microsoft and Nitobi in September of 2011, and just last month they rolled out full support for the platform.  This week PhoneGap also added some plugins for WP7.5 development that the framework was providing to other platforms:

    •    Facebook JS SDK
    •    Twitter/LinkedIn/WindowsLive status retriever
    •    Bing Maps Launcher
    •    LiveTile Update

The release of PhoneGap, as with many new projects,  has been met with some frustration by the open source community.  On Twitter, Hasin Hayder was having trouble with the new plugins, writing:

@phonegap can you please help us by making a screencast on integrating Facebook plugin with #Phonegap - really complicated! -- Hasin Hayder(DZone MVB)

For those of you having similar trouble, here are some helpful Phonegap resources:

Hopefully, some more screencasts and other how-to sources will spring up in the coming months to help out those who need help.  If you've been using PhoneGap, let us know what you think below.
