Pick up Updated SwitchYard Eclipse Tools

Free Resource

Today’s data climate is fast-paced and it’s not slowing down. Here’s why your current integration solution is not enough. Brought to you in partnership with Liaison Technologies.

If you're keen on becoming one of the early adopters of SwitchYard, the eventual replacement for JBoss ESB, then you'll want to get your hands on these Eclipse tools released last month for the latest version of SwitchYard - 0.7

This version of the tools requires a different version of m2e-wtp than the one required for 0.6.  Because of this, you may need to start with a fresh Eclipse/JBT/JBDS installation.

Having said that, the 0.7 tools are compatible with JBT 4.0 and JBDS 6.0 (whereas v0.6 was not).

Also, the new update site for the CI builds of the tooling can now be found here: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/integration/juno/soa-tooling/switchyard/

The tools have been built for Eclipse Juno, but it's unlikely you'd have a problem putting them on the Indigo platform, unless you're using JBT 3.3/JBDS 5.0.  Those may be incompatible with these tools.

That 1.0 release could be just around the corner, so if you're a fan of the JBoss stack of open source tooling, check this one out.

Is iPaaS solving the right problems? Not knowing the fundamental difference between iPaaS and iPaaS+ could cost you down the road. Brought to you in partnership with Liaison Technologies.
