We all love our IoT devices, and there's no doubt that Raspberry Pi is the default device of choice for hobbyists. So, the news that the Raspberry Pi foundation have released a touchscreen display for the low low price of $60 should make us all more than a little excited.
It's a 7'' screen and it supports a resolution of 800x480. The possibilities are relatively endless! There's a load of detail on the RaspberryPi.org site about how you can connect up the screen.
I'm looking forward to running my MAME emulator on the screen and seeing how it works. But for many others, this could lead to much more innovative ideas. What would you use the screen for?
