ReportMill Software, Inc. today announced the release of ReportMill 11 - the most powerful Java application reporting available. The new version introduces many new features, including:

  • Native Java Applet & Desktop viewer
  • Text Enhancements (Inline images, border padding)
  • Filter Effects (Shadow, Blur, Reflection, Emboss)
  • Stroke Enhancements (Dash stroke, Border Stroke)
  • Dashboarding Preview (Drag & drop application components)

In addition to providing more features than competing solutions, the ReportMill desktop design application (RMStudio) offers the best user experience, using the familiar page-layout application paradigm. RMStudio is easy to use and packaged as a convenient Java Web Start application, which launches with one click, straight from the ReportMill website on any platform.

The ReportMill engine also offers a uniquely elegant developer experience and is packaged as a single, compact jar file. Most developers need only call a few lines of API to generate professional reports in a variety of standard internet file formats, including PDF, XML, HTML, Excel, JPEG and more. ReportMill is steadily becoming the reporting tool of choice for companies that want to easily incorporate powerful reporting into their own applications. ReportMill runs on all major platforms with support for all Java desktop and web based applications.

"ReportMill attracts some of the most sophisticated developers in the world. They immediately see the benefit of Object Reporting over the traditional database approach - which is why ReportMill wins over many refugees of old-school reporting tools," says Jeff Martin, ReportMill CEO.
